UNESCO expert on cultural heritage in SORD organization

Engineer / Nabil Ali Munsir, a cultural heritage expert – UNESCO project in Yemen,on Thursday, July 23, visited today, Sanid Organization for Relief and Development, where he was received by the organization’s president, Mr. Muhammad Al-Kabous,the director of the organization’s cultural heritage protection unit. Professor Warda Al-Jaradi.
This visit comes within SORD programs and activities in the field of cultural heritage protection.
During the visit, they discussed the status of Yemeni heritage and the difficulties surrounding it and what it is exposed to in terms of damages, risks and threats, and how to find appropriate solutions to support the cultural, civilizational and historical heritage with the solidarity and cooperation of civil and international organizations in the field of heritage.
Engineer Nabil Munasir expressed his admiration for the organization’s management and its effective staff, describing them in his speech as “forming a nucleus and a good seed deserving of support and encouragement.”
